Contribuisci feedbackTheir paneed pork chops are simply the best on the South Shore of Lake Pontchartrain. You can enjoy them on a po'boy, as well as in their daily lunch specials. On Mondays, don’t miss out on their incredible red beans and rice. The original Chill Down Salad is a delightful treat, featuring shrimp salad, shrimp cocktail, potato salad, and shrimp remoulade—the remoulade sauce is among the best I’ve tasted. And the Kick-Start Burger, oh my goodness—it deserves its own category! This burger boasts a freshly ground beef patty combined with a sausage patty, topped with pepper jack cheese, and served on a large toasted bun along with fries. It’s massive and simply delicious; you'll want to roll up your sleeves to enjoy it without making a mess! The staff is always friendly and accommodating, and owners Matt and Stacey are fantastic people. Even if you’re not in the immediate area, it’s worth the trip to Perrins. If you’re in town for lunch or dinner, you’ll definitely be glad you stopped by. And make sure to say hello to Peter while you’re there!
Our server, Linda, was both funny and attentive to our needs. She took our orders with all the requested additions and substitutions, and even explained the difference between Cabernet and Chardonnay (my apologies for not knowing!). Next time, I'll just choose based on color. Plus, she made sure that no ground beef and cheese came anywhere near my plate. All three of us thoroughly enjoyed our delicious meals, and the only reason I’m not leaving a “happy dish” is that the portion was too large for me to finish. As Schwarzenegger would say: “I’ll be back!”
The seafood cellar is absolutely amazing! The portions are generous enough for two people, with plenty left over for takeout the next day! The packaging is fantastic too! My favorite is the Southwest dish. They also offer a delicious Muffuletta-style sandwich! Everything is freshly prepared, which makes a big difference!
What a delicious place for our staff Christmas dinner! Food service was great! Recommend the Krustenfangr Bisque and the Crabcake Club Sandwich.
I had a wonderful experience at Perrin's. The staff were super friendly and that stuffed shrimp plate blew my district manager away who was visiting from Houston. He talked about it all the way to the airport! My crab club was delicious! Fine establishment you have there and I will be back!
