I can't resist trying the special today - a pulled pork sandwich! I'm not sure if they typically serve this dish in West Virginia, but it definitely caught my eye.
The service was awful, the food was terrible, the restaurant was dirty and in disrepair. I find it hard to believe that all of this was just a coincidence - it must have been planned. I felt like I was in a nightmare.
I went in with my friend and her sister around 19:40 on a Saturday night. we were informed that the kitchen closed at 8:30 so that we did our best to order as soon as possible, as we did not want someone from the staff to go to the house too late! the performance of this task was impossible. we sat for 10 minutes and never got menus. I finally went to the bar and asked for some. the waitress apologised and I said it was in order when it looked like an invigorated night. we waited 20 minutes for the waitress to come to our table. after 10 minutes wait the waitress claims that our appetizer had been delivered to the wrong customers so we had to wait for more. After 10 minutes we will finally get our appetizers, but we will then get terrible realisation that our main courses have fallen on the floor. she asks us if we only want to get the scary for our appetizers and find somewhere else to eat what I thought was strange because in the rule the cooks would only cook another and maybe let the customers know that they don't ignore themselves (I would think). I'll tell her it's in order, and we'd like to get our food. that was a big mistake. other couples who arrived after us had a start, main course and desert and left before us. After waiting for 30 minutes, she brings us the leak and says she has a good night. I ask her what happened to our food? she says she thought we wanted to go and go after I told her twice that we would wait for the food we ordered before an hour! So I had to stay hungry with my friend and my friend and finally pay for a crab dip appetizer. as outside the city harpers ferry since 2009 I visited harpers ferry for the first time, I must say that I have not left harpers ferry with a good taste in my mouth (if at all taste, but besides everything was the appetizer great! Try the crab dip when they are bored and looking for an hour to kill!
Our family favorite place in harper’s ferry (no relationship, btw hoping it comes back!
