Sushi is decent but pricey for the amount you get. The fried rice has no flavor and the chicken was dry, as if sitting under the heat for hours. Not never fresh.
I went to Sakura Tokyo for lunch and was disappointed by my experience. I ordered two sushi rolls: spicy tuna and salmon and avocado; the total cost was $9.53, which I find to be expensive when compared to other sushi places in the area. I was further disappointed when my order was wrong, receiving a tuna and avocado roll instead of the spicy tuna, and the portion was measly. I would not recommend eating here. You can do better than this establishment in Strawberry Square.
I ordered chicken teriyaki rolls from their place, and about 10 minutes, my order was ready, but instead I got sushi. I went back wondering if I could exchange what I had for some chicken and rice, then the woman at the counter said in an angry tone that all I really get from their place is chicken, when I actually do get other things. I'd recommend going to the other places in the square besides this one.
Ordered shrimp tempura for $6 and some change. Literally only got shrimp and the roll. Not even cucumber. They won’t give you the chopsticks unless you come back and ask. And I left as they were yelling at some guy saying he could only get a drink from the fountain once. NO REFILLS. Stop being so cheap.
