El Sol Mexican - Harrisonburg

I was looking forward to enjoying dinner with some tacos, so I asked my daughter to call and place an order. After she tried several times without success, I decided to call myself multiple times, but no one answered. I believe that ignoring customer calls isn't a proper way to treat patrons.

The food here is incredible! I ordered the shrimp tacos, and they were loaded with a generous portion of shrimp. I inquired if the restaurant is family-owned, and they confirmed that it is. Thank you!

I stopped here while passing through town on my way back to Texas, and we were craving some Mexican food, which can be tough to find outside our state. I was thrilled to discover this place—it was absolutely delicious! Everything we tried was fantastic. The chicken tacos and chicken sopes were incredibly tender and flavorful, much better than the beef options. I would definitely eat here again!

I've been here twice now and the food is phenomenal. However, after today's experience I don't think we will be back. Stopped in an hour and half before close to get a drink at the bar and good to go. Was told the bar was closed, no worries we ordered our to go food. While we were waiting 3 guys came in and were sat and served drinks at the bar. I've never had an experience like this and it was super disappointing. Especially since we do enjoy the food

Hmmm, no chips and salsa to start off. Weird but ok. Service was good. Don't know if it's standard but you get handed a red and a green sauce. Spicy AF. They ain't messin around. Very tasty. Vegetarian Sopes are freakin amazing. I want to bathe in them. Get them all in my face. Can we talk about this mural tho. OMG, so adorable.
