Siang Khene - Harrisonburg

During our recent trip to Harrisonburg, we decided to try this Thai restaurant. It was so impressive that we returned to sample the Laotian menu as well. Both experiences were fantastic. The red curry was excellent, and the handmade udon-style noodle soup was equally delicious. If we lived in the area, we would definitely visit this place regularly.

This restaurant is amazing! I started with the curry puffs and crispy tofu as appetizers, which would have made the meal fantastic on their own. For the main course, I had the duck curry and also tried the fried rice. Both dishes were some of the best versions I've ever tasted! It’s common for curries and fried rice to be overly greasy, but these were not at all. The curry was rich and flavorful, while the rice was light and fluffy. To top it all off, the mango sticky rice was a perfect ending to the meal. It's easy for this dessert to feel heavy, especially after such a hearty main course, but it was refreshing and delicious. I'm not sure what your dinner plans are for tonight, but you should definitely consider Siang Khene!

The food is absolutely delicious and incredibly fresh. This is my favorite Thai restaurant in town! The place is also very clean!

Service was amazing and everything was fresh and delicious! Siang Khene is a precious gem tucked away in the valley. The whole family is full, happy, and so thankful!

DELICIOUS! We always get the same thing from Thai places and neither of us were familiar with Laotian cuisine; so we decided to try something different and were SO glad we did! We got the Mok w/catfish (new for us), yellow curry w/chicken, crispy wings w/tamarind sauce. I like how the spice level is honest and the curry didn't taste like sugar. Nice customer service. Highly recommended and we'll be back!
