Unfortunately, most of the food ended up in the trash, and I wasted £26! The Chicken Shaslik was cold and soggy, indicating it had been sitting around for a while before being picked up. The naan bread was also cold and damp. The portion of mushroom bhaji was very small, and the cauliflower bhaji was not tasty at all, nothing like what I have had at the restaurant. Overall, I was very disappointed with the experience.
5 went for dinner. The bill incl tip 100. 5 mains only no deserts, no starters, a few soft drinks only. the food was efficiently served after a short delay. We were the only eaters. 4 had chicken, one had lamb biryani. plus a few side dishes. All said the chicjkn was tasty as was the lamb. . The portions were very reasonable. a return visit will be made.
Visited Jaflong yesterday evening with my family... it’s been a while because of COVID. But what a treat, OMG our meal was delicious, best curry ever.....and great service too. Thanks all, will return soon.
We went there this evening and the food was out of this world....we should use more often! Everything was lovely and we all had one of the best curry’s ever.
Today, I spent £42.00 on a takeout meal from Jaflong. Unfortunately, the vegetable curry had a bad smell and when I mentioned it to Abdul, the owner, he explained that there was a new chef in the kitchen. I have been a loyal customer of Jaflong for many years. The parota was undercooked, but the chicken dopizia, balti fish, and lamb Rashmi were decent. Abdul claimed these dishes were prepared by the chef, but I have my doubts. I am very disappointed and consider this unacceptable. I urge customers to be cautious when dining here. I would not even give this food one star.
