My friend and I stopped here for lunch. We had the meatloaf special. Not only was it the best I’ve had ... the mashed potatoes and gravy were better than home. Everything was excellent and the price was more than reasonable. Plus, our waitress from Nfld. couldn’t have been more friendly and attentive. Honestly, it was worth the drive from Fredericton.

We have dined at this restaurant numerous times over the past decade and have always been pleased with the food. However, during our most recent visit, we noticed that the burgers were significantly smaller than before. It appears that they may be decreasing portion sizes while maintaining or increasing prices. We hope that they address this issue soon, as we may consider dining elsewhere if it happens again.

I ordered fish and chips and what I got was burnt fish. Why would they serve something that was obviously overcooked?waitress was great about the whole thing but I don't think I'll be going back anytime soon.

I recommend stopping by a few times a month when you're out for a drive. This is a classic roadside diner with a tasty menu and delicious food. The service is consistently excellent.

It was lunch and time for a break. What a great spot. We had grilled fish and scallops.we opted for the Greek salad instead of fries. Everything was really good! The service was most friendly. The restaurant was very clean and bright. Happy we stopped and we will stop here again, next time.
