It was kind of weird to go and not be greeted by someone, although there were 1 workers sweeping and 1 work the front. We went in and the only other customers went out. First edition is the prices online and the price in the register is different. I understand prices are rising, but change the shield. We ordered the fish tacos times 2, chips and salsa and 2 drinks. A total of 54 mice were kind of high for 4 tacos, rice beans. The tomatoes salsa was bland, nothing imagination. The pineapple salsa was by far the best here. The chips were crispy and freshly costed. The fish tacos were good, not amazing. No cabbage on them, but a good sauce. The fish portions hardly covered the tacos that was good, but for the price I would hope more. The rice was fluffy and black beans were good. The woman said the pint beans were too salty to eat. After 17 years of life in Hawaii this was the first time to eat here. We're not gonna hold back. You can find better quality anywhere, but this pineapple salsa was great.
Good beef tacos and nachos. Ananas salsa was pretty sweet. Cheap for what you get. $7 for a single taco?
North Shore Tacos is a fun place for Mexican food on the North Shore. We liked their nacho plate and their fish tacos. The ingredients were fresh and tasteful. You also have a nice selection of hard and soft drinks. The restaurant has huge doors that open it in the atmosphere of the local beach scene. Like most places they were a little underused, so don't hesitate to ring the bell on the counter. They will not be insulted.
Had great things about North Shore Tacos so took the trip to North Shore for some highly recommended tacos and it was great! Who visits with the Fiance for our first time Honolulu and would definitely recommend it. Fish tacos were excellent. Ananas salsa was also a hit and the drink menu was excellent.
Our family came to eat at North Shore Tacos because of its reputation. The tacos were good but not as fantastic for the price you pay. Our family of 6 spent over $100, we just didn't expect that. The fish taco had large seared portions of fish that had good texture and cubed perfectly but no seasoning to speak of. The Kulua Pork taco had good flavor and was my favorite. The fresh toppings also helped with presentation.
