Sprinkles Rainham - Havering

I have attempted to visit Sprinkles for quite some time now, but have never found it open. I have tried calling their number to confirm its hours, but no one ever answers. It seems like they are very unreliable.

This restaurant has never been open in the 5 years I've lived here! What is going on?

I decided to end the half term with a visit to Sprinkles based on my friend's recommendation, as her teenage daughters are regular visitors. I ordered the Reese's milkshake, my daughter had the chocolate waffle and Oreo milkshake, and my other daughter had three scoops of ice cream and the strawberry milkshake. I absolutely loved my milkshake and will definitely be returning for another one. My daughter enjoyed her waffle, although she felt it was too soft, but personally I prefer it that way. Unfortunately, I cannot review the Oreo milkshake as my daughter was too full to drink it. My other daughter loved her ice cream, which included strawberry, mint, and bubblegum flavors - a strange choice, but she's only 6 years old! She finished it all. I didn't particularly enjoy her strawberry milkshake as it lacked sweetness and tasted more like a strawberry smoothie. The staff were kind and friendly, and we paid in cash. I have been to other dessert places like Creams and Kaspa's, but I enjoyed Sprinkles' Reese's milkshake the most. I can't wait to try their crepes and coffee next time!

Food was plentiful and reasonably priced. Staff were efficient and tables were clean. All round good value.

My family and I visited here today and were welcomed nicely, the two young ladies were very smiley and friendly. The music was very loud however and conversation was difficult. We were slightly surprised that we had to order at the counter rather than table service. One of the dishes we originally ordered was unavailable which was disappointing. all our desserts (7) arrived at different times and 1 of those was very late indeed. We felt the waffles and cones were comparable to any available from a local supermarket, and the toppings were extremely sparse, particularly as they are charged separately. In addition to all this, I was told the card machine had not yet been installed has this shop really been open for 4 months ridiculous. Worse still, there was no change available and I was asked to pay more for the desserts than the set prices which I did to avoid further disappointment to the 3 children in our group. I felt sorry for the young ladies who were obviously left in charge with no idea of how to deal with these situations. It was extremely embarrassing for them and me. I do not think we will be back.
