Wilpena Pound Resort - Hawker

A good variety of food to choose from, well presented and tasty evening meal. Dessert was scrumptious! Plenty of choice at the buffet breakfast.

The food here was very good. The lamb cutlets, steak and kangaroo exceptional.The service was excellent very friendly staff. the toilets could be cleaned more often and checked as this is apart of the whole experience.

The restaurant had a lovely balcony which was nice to sit out on in the evening with a drink. The staff were very helpful and attentive. the food was underwhelming and certainly pricey for what you got. Many of the items on the menu were not available.

I was there with family at Easter. Camping, and decided to try the resort restaurant. Although peak easter time, the restaurant was three quarters full. The place seemed tu run on minimal staff, with not much systems in place to run well. It took over an hour to get meals after ordering at the bar. The food was ok and the staff apologised for the delay, however given the resort status and prices ($125 for a family of four) , I would expect better. Perhaps stick with camping in this location.

Great food, but a little pricey for some..The staff are fantastic, very helpful and most are from the local area.
