Cafe Cuba Cakes - Hawthorne

I've been going there for years last time I was there felt so uncomfortable I was ignore by the staff and I was looking at the counter to see what I was going to buy I saw one of the staff members came and checked to make sure that the register was closed I have always tip great every time I go there but never going back

Such a gem in Hawthorne, always has been. Cubano sandwiches and iced lattes are really good and worth the wait. Plus, I love the Cuban art they have on the walls.

Came in on a Sunday (google listed as closed but it is open on Sundays) and had a great cortadito and cajeta pastelito. Service was polite and prompt. Looking forward to coming back for the food. Parking: Lots of spots right in front along Hawthorne Blvd

I regret not finding this spot sooner. The food is incredible and the drinks are tasty. I go every weekend for an iced coffee and pastelitos. The beef and cheese are my favorite.
