Trio Tap House - Hays

After a seemingly never-ending journey through Kansas on my way home, I spotted a large billboard advertising her restaurant and decided to stop in for a beer. I ended up spending 2 hours chatting with the bartender and server, who were extremely friendly. The restaurant was beautifully decorated and spotlessly clean. The food looked so delicious that it was hard to resist overeating. I highly recommend this place to anyone on a road trip, especially locals. Vegetarian? No problem - they have a good selection of vegetarian options and can make any salad without meat. Skip the fast food and treat yourself to a beer, a nice steak, and maybe even dessert. It was the best decision I've made in my 5 years of driving back and forth through Kansas.

Just like most travelers driving east or west on I-70, we often dream of eating something incredibly delicious and definitely not another fast food option when passing through Hays. Thankfully, just a mile south of the rest stop, we found Trio Taphouse. We arrived in the middle of the afternoon, just in time to catch the lunch specials before they ended at 3. After asking about the top three lunch specials, I chose the turkey, bacon, and avocado sandwich with waffle fries, while my wife opted for the fiery grilled chicken with sweet potato fries. Both dishes were excellent, but I have to admit, my sandwich was the clear winner. It tasted like a work of art and I felt like a sandwich connoisseur with every bite. I decided to go with the dijon mustard instead of mayo and was delighted with my choice. The portion sizes were just right, filling us up without feeling too heavy. To top off our meal, we indulged in their incredible French vanilla cheesecake with candied pecans, paired with fresh coffee. Overall, a definite win. Don't pass up the opportunity to stop at Trio Taphouse, it's well worth it!

Trio is the best restaurant in Hays, hands down. My wife and I recently discovered it and we are kicking ourselves for not finding it sooner. From the delicious drinks and attentive bartenders to the incredible food, Trio has it all. My wife loved the drinks recommended to her from the menu, and the food was some of the best we've had in the city. The pasta was amazing and the fish tacos reminded me of ones I had in California. The service was top-notch as well, with Jack going above and beyond to ensure we had a fantastic dining experience. If you haven't been to Trio yet, you need to go. It's an absolute must-visit.

Here for dinner while traveling through kansas. the food was very good that we had sirloin steak, and the first-class steaksalat and the icy was also good! but what really impressed us was the service! the sirloin steak was ordered mid-seldom and it came out more rarely, and the green beans were seasoned. my dad asked to cook the steak a little more and have green beans. fortunately they did both and the chef went so far to ask how he cooked the buoys. the food came out perfectly, but only before we ask if we were satisfied with everything else. after dinner they told us that they would give us a dessert about the house. we chose bananen promote cheesecake that was also delicious! great experience

We came from out of town during our trip to Colorado. It was a fantastic place to visit and very inviting.
