Heathcote Fish Chips (nsw)

Good for a cheapish suburban fish shop. Not the greatest fish but cooked well in a crunchy batter and some of the chips were nicely crispy.

Excellent food served at Heathcote Fish and Chips at a decent price as well. The decor of the little take away shop is fitting for the food served. The fish burger was delish!

Although they display a sign that says they've been in business since 1960, the place looks freshly renovated and clean.The food is fresh, cooked to order. I saw a girl pealing potatoes and cutting chips, so the chips are not frozen. I ordered a grilled fillet of barrumundi which was beautifully cooked. Chips were lightly fried so did not taste greasy.The staff was very welcoming and helpful, always with a smile.

No need for much word! If you are looking for the best fish&chips around, just come here. Your search would be over, just as we did. (We took the train from Sydney central just to come to this place. Simply the best!
