I spent 23 years in Texas, so I know my barbecue. Bell's BBQ in Henderson comes quite spaghalous near the Lone Star delicacies. The catfish was perfect. Maize flour crispy on the outside, pearl white, sweet and flaky on the inside. I liked the cracker on my Mac and cheese. Real cheese, by the way! The Brisket Sandwich came with enough meat for two sandwiches. And you definitely needed two hands to eat it. For me, the brisket was a dry tad, but the piquant grill sauce was on it. Oh, and there are four different barbecue sauces to choose, so there is a sauce for each palate. Each dish comes with Devyn's homemade pickles. I don't know Devyn, but they do extraordinary pickles. I did it. Every meal comes with two sides. So much to mix and fit. The menu fabric there are thousands of combinations. Bell's has three types of ribs: St. Louis, baby back and beef. You can add a single rib to everything you order. That's cool because you don't have to order a whole rack if you feel like catfish, but you can't resist a rib. You order and pay at the switch. The staff will bring you the food. The dining room is sunny and cheerful, because the stands stand against floor-like windows. The restaurant has a large covered terrace dining area so you can eat in Las Vegas during most of the year. The food is in a strip shopping center in Henderson, so there are many parking spaces. I'd rather eat grill in Austin. But I live in Vegas, so Bell is!
Great job everywhere. You want big BBQ and I think the best page choices ever hands down. If you're in Nevada, it's worth it. I'm sure I'm a fan. Bell's.
I left because I miss peanuts. The menu had so many things to try. We settled on a brisket and a pulled pig's plate. It was okay. Everything really lacked taste, even salt and pepper. There were no technical problems except burned sweet potatoes. The pulled pig was better than the bride. The boiled peanuts were fine, not long enough cooked in my opinion. The girl who worked at the desk was very sweet and attentive, so that was nice.
Really good food. One star less for personal opinion. The rack of ribs wasn't as tender as I like, but that is very subjective depending on the person. As for the rest of the food, it's very good. The home run for me was the barbecue pork belly. Sooo good. I really liked the Mac and cheese too.
