Contribuisci feedbackI booked a table for my 30th birthday through Open Table and received a confirmation, but when we arrived the restaurant was closed. There were no posts on social media to advise the restaurant would be closed on this day, besides a post stating generally that there would be some closures in the next few weeks due to construction. I messaged Acacia on Facebook to notify them that they were accepting bookings on Open Table when they were closed, and they left me on read without replying. I was really disappointed as I had always enjoyed the excellent and creative food in the past, and had been looking forward to celebrating my 30th with friends.
Such a lovely place, the staff were incredibly kind and attentive providing great service. Would definitely come back!
We had a phenomenal evening at Acacia. The food here is amongst the top echelon of Adelaide fine dining, but at a fraction of the cost. A must do degustation…
Had the Japanese-inspired dinner menu. Wonderful, thoughtful work. Lots of evidence of various passion projects by the staff. The hoshigaki, the ferments, the black lime etc. The highlight was the koji sorbet palate cleanser, though there were many contenders. We're not very wine-knowledgeable, but the wine matching was really interesting, with a honey-scented, but dry, pet nat up first and lovely with the snacks.
Really enjoyed, fantastic meal and friendly. attentive service.
