Mash Brasserie - HENLEY BROOK

Arrived at 1.00pm, was busy but still tables available so not bursting, being the Easter weekend you expect a little pressure on the staff, took about 20mins to have someone take our order, as I write this review we are 1 hr 45mins waiting for our lunch, we have been offered a free round of drinks, thanks.. the staff obviously doing there best today in trying circumstances... food arrived just shy of two hours from order ...the squid was ok, but packet prepared I would think, the chips turned up cold but were promptly replaced so credit for that... ... perhaps just a bad day for this establishment

A good choice of Beers and some excellent food in a roomy restaurant. The Wagyu Burger and the Steak sandwich are great dishes and if you are not into meat then have the Asparagus and Green Bean salad, a quite superb dish.

I found the menu to have something for everyone. A group table had there meals coming out while we were waiting and each meal looked amazing. I had the Chicken Maryland and couldn't fault it, and the other dishes for my table were no complaints either. Indoor and Outdoor seating, normal wait time. Couldn't fault it, and will return to try something else on the menu!For the weekend - book a table

The food was OK but I had primarily visited there to try their award winning beers. I had already tried 2 and was keen to try some more. It would be OK for tourists who are happy to have a tasting paddle (4 beers) but forget it if you want to taste a beer before you buy. I know what type of beers I like so it was only a choice between two. But "management" will not let guests taste. Very poor, first brewery I have visited amongst many around the world to have this attitude. Such a shame as their beers I have tried have been very good to great.
