Not many options other than dumplings, which is fine. But everything is overpriced for it’s quality and quantities. We ordered pork dumplings and prawn dumplings for takeaway last night. The pork dumplings were bland with barely any seasoning. The prawn dumplings were exactly the same as the frozen ones I bought from supermarkets and it’s $17 for six small pieces!
A suitable place for vegetarians and vegans.Did take-away due to Covid situation. Liena is well aware of vegetarian/ vegan/ GF requirements as they have catered such diets for quite some time. We don't take onions garlic, and Liena is happy to cater. Veg dumplings are good.
During our trip to Daylesford, we were pleasantly surprised by the delicious food we were served at this restaurant. The dumplings, claypot, fried rice, and Xiaolongbao were all mouth-watering and some of the best I have ever tasted, even compared to dishes I've had in Taiwan and China.
Service is lovely, very welcoming. Dumpling soup consisted of 5 or 6 bland dumplings sat in a bowl of what looked like and tasted like supermarket chicken stock with a sprinkle of spring onions and handful of spinach dumped on top. Very underwhelming.
