Cypresal Mirador Y - Heredia

Hotel cypresal is beautiful and close to adventure parks, restaurants and lots of nature to explore. the area is lush, with a wide view of the cities below and surrounding mountains, not to mention an amazing sunset. the cabenas are cozy and clean. the meals in the hotel restaurant are delicious. we found the personal incredibly courteous and friendly. the owner ronnie is attentive and helpful. his experienced know about costa rica offers reliable suggestions for their stay. his anecdotes are humorous and informative.

I love this place so glad that we found it here on google maps, but we called directly, and ron has made a great work, we really hooked up with a reservation on the phone. Now we just have to write him and he has room with a kamin, and burns for her arrival when they ask and be pretty sure of her arrival time. can not expect to come back and stare the ankle of the mix of the 1st and 3rd world lighter over the valley. miriam was a big server. we'll be the next nativity. tell miriam that she should keep our seat warm, she has made a great work that we are full of everything we need, very attentive service!

My wife and I lived in jaco for over 18 years, so we are not strangers to the heat and moisture. as expat canadian I found myself completely at home with the cooler temperature at the cypresal. the fact that there was a kamin in almost evey chalet was wonderful. my two youngs loved the open space to play and Ronnie the owner was super hospitable. the food was still top and he let us try the local delacasies, the homemade artisan cheese and smoked trout. if they want peace and quiet good food and good people. take the trip to the mountains of barva and stay in cypresal!

I and my wife stayed there and we had the sweetest time with the mild temperature, the excellent view of the valley and the magical wooden cabins with a fireplace. the eating was very old-fashioned style we loved, and the friendly owners ronnie and his daughter miriam felt home. kudos cypresal!

Made us feel welcome, place was clean. Breakfast was awesome.
