Contribuisci feedbackA disappointing experience. It started in the parking lot. The small ChocolateWorld lot was the only parking area opened. It was packed. No spots opened and cars were bumper to bumper entering the lot. We creeped around for 15 minutes before security finally opened other lots. Being delayed 15 minutes in the lot made us a few minutes late for our reservation. Very frustrating since we were there on time. I know the Chocolatier is not responsible for the parking mess, but you’re a Hersheypark property, so it’s part of the experience. Checking in, the person who greeted and seated us hates her job. She wasn’t welcoming, warm and friendly and wanted to be anywhere else but working. Once seated, we ordered in a reasonable amount of time, but then waited an hour for our food to be served. Let me say, we thought the server was fine. She was working hard, and it appeared she had too many tables to cover. To add further context, we were a party of four, and we ordered basic items: house salads, pizza, tacos, pretzel dippers and a kids’ meal. When it all arrived, the food that was suppose to be hot was cold. The food tasted good. The portions were okay. But, all things considered — the experience, the wait time and cold food — was unacceptable. To top it off, I wouldn’t have minded the $100 price tag for such a small, modest order, but given everything I just described, it was all pretty frustrating. We won’t be back.
Food is just normal, but service, environment, and presentation make it worth visiting. A bit pricey
Dude, this restaurant was absolutely epic! The food was incredible, the service was top-notch, and the ambiance was totally on point. I loved the chocolate-infused dishes – it's a flavor combo I never knew I needed. And the view of the rollercoaster was sick! Sure, it's a bit pricey, but it's worth it for the experience. The only downside is that the place is a bit small, but that's a nitpick. Overall, this spot is a must-try for anyone in the area.
Best food ever. So good. It is expensive but it is worth it. Good service. Went on a Saturday peak lunch time in FebruaryParking: Free during Hersheypark off season
The Chocolatier was a little gimmicky and expensive but it was a lot of fun. The milkshakes were so ridiculous I do recommend splitting one with someone or splitting and entree and getting your own milkshake. It was too much food but so delicious. On top of it all, our server, Becky, was so patient, friendly, and fun and the hostesses were welcoming and outgoing. I would absolutely come back for the fun of it.
