Our order arrived late, missing utensils, and most importantly, the food was not up to standard. We ordered salmon and teriyaki chicken bento boxes, but the salmon was overcooked and had a burnt taste, suggesting it may have been reheated from a previous day. The chicken was also overcooked and lacked the promised teriyaki sauce. After a single bite, we decided not to risk getting sick and disposed of the food. We typically refrain from leaving negative reviews, especially during the challenging times of Covid-19, but the inconsistency and potential danger of the food at this restaurant compelled us to share our experience.
I have visited this restaurant often and the food is great. However, on a recent visit with my two children, who are both tall for their age, we were charged adult prices for their meals. This resulted in a pricey dining experience, as young children tend to eat very little. My daughter, who is still in elementary school, was also classified as an adult and charged accordingly. This made her feel self-conscious about her height and led to an uncomfortable situation in the restaurant. I urge the restaurant to reconsider their policy on pricing for children.
I have been dining at this restaurant for many years and frequent it often. The staff are always friendly and the food is consistently high quality, meeting all state requirements. It is one of the few restaurants where I feel safe dining out. Upon arrival, customers are asked to sanitize their hands, wear a mask, have their temperature taken, and sign in. The tables are spaced out with hanging perspex glass partitions, creating a sense of privacy and security for diners. It feels like being in your own personal bubble room while dining.
The best japaner in the opposite for me. really good service and a very reasonable price. I was often and eating was great every time. the squid is amazing.
Lunchtime has the discount as the full price a la carte is quite expensive. Sushi is good and so is the service, but it’s not as good sushi for example as Atari ya take away in temple fortune. No mackerel sushi for example and the...spicy tuna is better with mayo rather than the chilli sauce that they use. These are little niggles, but certainly this is the best sushi option around. Hats off to their Covid preparations as well.
