Nothing to rave about. server was good but food wise everything was simply ok. Few of my baked oysters was still cold in the middle and the cheese was barely melted on all. The oyster shucker doesn 't cut the connection so you have to dig that out with a fork. Catfish was over cooked, they give you margarine as butter. Strait mid. Don 't drive more than 30 mins for this joint. Idk what the rave is about here. I 've had better food at a dive barEdit: prolly good for the area I live in. But I should have went to Jackson. 30 mins closer and way better lol
My group was on a hunting trip out of town and our guide suggested this restaurant. We didn't realize the importance of arriving early. It is a favorite among locals.
We dine at this restaurant frequently. The food is consistently delicious and served hot. The service at the bar is outstanding. We particularly enjoy the oysters, which are sourced from various locations along the coast.
This restaurant is a lovely spot to enjoy a meal. While the rib I ordered was not cooked to my liking, as they typically only prepare it to medium, it was still incredibly tasty.
