Taj Indian Cuisine - Hickory

The food was delicious, and the service was prompt, even with how busy they were!

Our waitress was quite disrespectful as soon as we arrived, speaking to us as if we were teenagers. I work in the same industry, so I expected better. When we placed our order, she unilaterally decided the spice level for our dishes, despite us requesting something different. It was my first visit, and I left feeling very disappointed with the service. While the food was good, her attitude completely overshadowed the experience. I don’t recall her name, but she has dark hair and is of Indian descent; if she’s the manager, that’s shocking.

Taj is our favorite spot for Indian cuisine and we have yet to try a bad dish! My personal favorites are the Chicken Korma and Garlic Naan. They let you choose your spice level from 1-5. I always go mild but my husband gets a 4 which has him sweating in minutes!

Food was fantastic and our waitress Victoria was very friendly and took great care of us.

Had chicken tikka masala, shrimp tikka masala, and garlic naan. Have to say it was outstanding!! Perfect heat on the masalas. The naan was incredible! The service was great!! Many thanks for an unforgettable meal!!
