Our waitress was a little over-attentive with topping up our drinks and clearing the dishes, which made our dining experience here less relaxing than expected. The staff could benefit from being friendlier and smiling more.
I tried the vegan set menu with 5 courses for £55, which I found to be a good value for a fine dining experience. The staff were friendly and professional, offering detailed explanations of each dish on the menu. The concept and presentation of the dishes were impressive, but unfortunately, the taste did not meet expectations. My favorite course was the sticky rice with cucumber and ginger puree. While the remaining dishes were interesting, they lacked that special something in taste. The dessert, which consisted of coconut sorbet and coffee cake, was delicious. However, the portion sizes were quite small, leaving me a bit hungry after the meal.
One of my favorite places in london. I don't even know where to start. it's an ornament of a place that's worn away. you get the feeling of quality from the outside. quality and old world charm. years ago I felt like I went to someone's house, a dear friend place, because the ambiente is just so quiet and beautiful. the service is great every time I was. the menu changes so often and the dishes are always so creatiw with fascinating combinations that surprise and joy. you really have to try. it is the way to eat for vegetarian and vegan foods.
Simply the best vegetarian meal I had in london! wonderful selection a la carte as well as 2 tasting menus (a vegetarian and a vegan). great personal and good value (although the white wine started with 60 bottles).
Superb vegan eating! visually appealing and incredibly charming. the curcuma cake was exquisite, we enjoyed a glass English champagne and 3-course menu from the lunch menu about £40 per. highly recommended!
