Contribuisci feedbackThe reviews on the restaurant's website are so glowing, my husband and I knew we'd love this place. We soon concluded, though, that the reviews must have been written by the owner. The decor is nice, the patio area is spacious and comfortable, the beer and wine list is not only extensive but reasonably priced, and the menu options all looked so good that it was hard to choose. However, this restaurant was severely understaffed. When we arrived, we were seated immediately by the hostess/waitress/busboy. Although there was a bartender in an empty bar, and what appeared to be two cooks, the hostess/waitress/busboy seemed to be the only person working the dining room and patio. She seated us promptly, but we waited 20 minutes to give a drink order before giving up and leaving the restaurant. We noted that there were numerous tables that had not been cleared, and folks that had finished eating, but waiting for a long time to pay their bill. My sympathies are with the waitress, who was trying her best but just could not perform duties that should be performed by a staff rather than one lone person. The food may actually be as wonderful as promised, but we'll never find out. We went to Stingray's seafood instead, about 1/2 mile on the other side of the street, where the service was excellent, the food pretty good, and the prices extremely reasonable.
