Hickory Tavern - Hilton Head Island

The chicken penne pasta was quite good! The charred wings had a lovely smoky flavor without being burnt, definitely above average.

The service was excellent, and the atmosphere was fantastic, especially for sports fans. They offer a great kid's menu, which is perfect for families, and they even serve apple juice. I didn't manage to take pictures of all our food since everyone started eating so quickly, but I do have pictures of the queso dip, pretzel bites, and the children's chicken finger plate.

Service was great, eating came fast and had a nice feeling for the environment there. we ate outside when a storm rolled in and had a great time.

We ordered 36 chicken wings and they were so dry. I felt like I was chewing for 14 years. The flavors were good though. We got teriyaki, carribean jerk, and lemon pepper. They tasted good but I couldn't physically eat more than 4 of them or I would've started choking. The service was pretty fast, that's why I'm giving 2 starts instead of 1. Was a waste of 50+ dollars though.

The wings were dry but the flavor was very good. the service was fast and they seemed very nice. the wings were like shoe leather and i almost choked about four times. we got 36 wings and spent over $50- waste of money in my opinion.
