Akamaru Yokogawa

First visit The! The atmosphere of the retro Izakaya is pleasant to drink casually. It's fast to ask for anything! Delicious! Cheap staff's attention, care, smile, and energy are wonderful, and I was imp。ed by a long time that I drink at a liquor shop so much. I was too worried about the drink, so I went to the shop in full and I was出ry close to Yokogawa.

The shop is simple. The case of sake is reversed and the chair is put on the cushion, and the table is also felt like it was a board. This is a system that can be ordered by downloading the QR code on your smartphone. There were many kinds of sake, and each dish was cheap. It was delicious.

Akamaru is one of my favorite retro style izakaya. I love the downtown vibe which fits the Yokogawa location to a T and the super enthusiastic and friendly staff. Really wide menu at good prices. Quite a lot of meat and fish dishes though not sure about use of fish stock. Covid 19 prevention measures currently include plastic sheeting hung from above each table separating diners on each side of the table. Loved this fresh squeezed lemon sour for ¥490. So good on a sticky rainy season night!

Was brought here by a local and we stayed there all night. This place is a must visit for a real izakaya experiance
