Our two starters, halloumi and trout, were both beautifully presented. The trout dish was fantastic, while the halloumi could have benefited from a squeeze of lemon to balance its richness and saltiness. For our main course, we opted to share the pork shoulder, which was a winning dish. The generous serving came with green beans, polenta, and roasted cauliflower with grapes, pine nuts, and manchego. We paired it with a Tasmanian Chardonnay recommended by our server, and it complemented the dish perfectly. Overall, we loved the attentive service, energetic staff, ambiance, and incredible food at this restaurant. It was a truly memorable dining experience.
I had an amazing experience at the Old Wharf Restaurant! The Crab and avocado starter and Cape Grim steak were superb. The service, especially from Stacey, was friendly and efficient. The highlight for me was the Wildflower honey parfait, possibly the best dessert I've ever had at a restaurant. I enjoyed chatting with friends while sipping on a couple of Bundy and cokes and taking in the spectacular view. Overall, it was a 5-star experience. Well done, Old Wharf Restaurant!
I highly recommend this restaurant. I had a fantastic evening with the woman of my dreams in a beautiful setting. The staff were friendly and accommodating, and the food was incredible. If you're looking for a culinary experience and not just a meal, this is the place to visit.
Our stay at this amazing place was incredible- everything was perfect from our wonderful room to the service, food and every single thing that was so thoughtfully provided. My absolutely favourite place to stay.
Friendly, attentive, professional, knowledgable staff. Perfect spot to watch the harbour the sunset behind Mt Wellington. Additionally had possibly the best (all time) Caesar salad via room service ever!! Seriously!!!!
