Embers Bar Pizza Grill - Hobart

We ate in the Embers restaurant whilst staying in the Best Western. We both had pizzas and both were really tasty, cooked in the wood fired pizza oven. Staff were very attentive and service was excellent.

The service is really bad, slow and uneffective. You have to continuously call for attention and wait a lot for every request. The food is too much elaborate without reason. Probably a simpler food and a better service could improve the tragic situation of this restaurant

Stayed here for 3 nights Fri Sat and Sun, live music on Fri was great with a few beers then ate here on two nights, staff attentive, food good, we ate a la carte but pizza's looked great and looked good value

Well what a surprise. Pizza was amazing, blue cheese potatoes with rocket and drizzle of honey wow yum. Thank you best western

Was going to the Uni Revue and decided to have tea here before the show. The menu was not overly extensive but, offered some good choices of food selection particularly in the oven fired pizzas. I had the lamb shoulder with carrot puree and yoghurt. Although the meat was pinkish it was still a little chewy (but tasted fine). My husband had the scotch fillet steak which he enjoyed and was cooked to his liking. Don't usually have desserts but the banana filled chocolate crepes were sounding mighty good. Accompanied with cream and ice-cream they were filling. Waitress was friendly. Only suggestion to the establishment is that they need to get a better system in place when bringing something to the table. My glass of wine went to the wrong table and then we were bought 2 pizzas that were for the table behind us.
