Very strange experience with a very friendly staff. the restaurant was booked for a private function, but they let us in. pizzas needed long time to get in. not amazing.

We went here on a Tuesday night and were very pleased with the quality of the food and service. It has a fairly simple menu and we had starters and then mains including pizzas, pasta and salmon.

Very strange experience with a very friendly staff. Restaurant was booked for a private function but they let us in. Pizzas took a long time to come in. Not amazing taste.

We waited over 1.5hrs for our meal that never arrived. There was one person working front of house, who was friendly but harried. After over an hour of waiting with no update, I went inside to check on our meal waited over 5 mins...for service. The waitress came out with half a pizza to apologise for the delay, which was a nice gesture but it was one of the spiciest pizzas I have ever eaten. After a number of disgruntled patrons walked out with their meals not arriving either asking how long we had been waiting, we gave up too. Not sure is this was Covid short staffing but the total lack of communication was terrible. We left hungry frustrated. Should have walked 200 extra meters and eaten in Salamanca place instead.
