Stockmans Restaurant - Hobart

Mid week dinner with a friend. Quick service - the food looked and tasted great. I had the fish of the day - river trout with asparagus, wilted spinach, prawns and garlic sauce.

Stockmans has a good menu with a lot of choice, my steak was cooked perfectly, the service could have been a little better but the staff were very friendly

There are so many great places to eat in Hobart. But this isn't one of them. Bad service and bad food.

We went here last night as we were staying at the hotel. My husband and I ordered steaks when they came out I could already see that mine wasn't medium. After a few tries it came back perfect. They were very apologetic and offered a discount on the final bill. The steak was amazing and their house sauce we got was great. We would go back for another steak just wish we could get one right the first time.

Stockmans has a good solid menu with a lot of old favourites. I had a steak dinner and the steak was cooked perfectly. Helpful and attentive service. If you are staying at the hotel a great in-hotel restaurant and if you aren't staying at the hotel well with a visit.
