Tricycle Cafe & Bar - Hobart

Beautiful relaxed caffe hidden on the back of a small shopping center. the mexican/Mediterranean influenced menu was a bit surprising for the decor, but it was a nice twist for the breakfast items we ordered. the service was polite and efficient and the price was reasonable for the location. there were not so many tricycles, but we have especially enjoyed their music choice: the best of the Smiths!

Great sound from the promenade. warm place with plenty of seating and massive coffee. Breaky menu looked good, but we had already eaten. the staff was great and the mood was relaxed!

Most photos here are fake photos that they are not in their menu. there is only one kind of egg: rührei. just a few options to the breakfast. scramble plus two slices toast cost 12.

Forget to serve coffee in an avocado. tricycles version is a lot more tempting, filled with shovels from homemade genmai miso and blackbean miso. there is a complexity of hearty saltiness for each of them. the genmai or the brown reisnebel is my favorite, with its nutty butteriness.
