Chicken Caesar salad was so good the chicken was plumb and juicy and there was lots of it, the dressing was delicious and homemade. The veggie wrap had seasonal vegetables marinated beautifully with a tomato wrap, chips and homemade coleslaw very filling and delicious.
Great Florida casual spot! The lobster roll was faabulius and very generous! We all enjoyed our meals and will be returning soon.
Ended up here randomly on a Sunday afternoon after a full day on the beach. While I was craving a nice, big salad, it was Sunday buffet time so all they had was their buffet going with a few specialty items to boot. I'm glad they had said specialty items as the extremely friendly waitress suggested their famous lobster roll. Now while I'm usually not a big fan of lobster rolls and how much they cost here on Long Island (I've seen them for $60), this one was $25 and looked appetizing. Man was it! TONS of lobster, light dressing and did I mention tons of lobster??? It was delicious. That, plus a local beer called Hop Gun, made this place really special.
We heard great things about this restaurant from our favorite radio personality and were not disappointed. The food and drinks were excellent but best of all was how the owners Robert and Anita welcomed us with warmth and generosity. We felt like old friends and left promising ourselves to come bacevery time we're in that part of Florida. Loved the giant tiki hut covering the front patio and band stage. Get a table if you can under the palm fronds and heavy timber framing. Cool to be there and so good to be out!
We stopped in for lunch after visiting the Hobe Sound Art Festival. They have a huge tiki hut with outdoor seating. On this afternoon they also had a live band performing. We reviewed the menu before going but sadly for the Art Show weekend they were only offering a limited special menu. Also, all of the food was served in plastic to go containers not sure if that happens all the time or because of the Art show. Seemed like a lot of plastic usage for a city by the sea.... Anyway, we ordered the ahi tuna salad and a burger. Both were good and we enjoyed our meal while listening to the band.
