My daughter had a Katsu Curry from here and it was by far the best food that the three people that were there got that day. That's not to say it was sensational or anything but I thought it was quite nice, especially compared to what I got elsewhere. The service was quick but it also wasn't a busy day. Chef used gloves to handle money, scratch head and use the till, then proceeded to prepare food with dirty gloves. Also he used the same gloves to make a non fish dish having handled fish previously, when asked did he change his gloves before making them he said no , when we asked why he said we don 't do that! All the while the fish was also packaged with non fish dish, this is very unsanitary and a health hazard with regards to allegens and contamination that can lead to food poisoning or worse in the case of a serious fish allergy. Had to return the food, such a wasteful experience.
Delicious, tastiest sushi I have ever eaten Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Recommended dishes: Crunch Roll
Got a €20 platter to share. Was pleasantly surprised by the amount on the platter, sushi is often expensive but there was a good amount there. Was more surprised by the quality of the sushi which was better than any of the restaurants I've had sushi at in Cork, really fresh, tasty and excellent. The sitting area in the market is also lovely and atmospheric. Service: Dine in Meal type: Lunch Price per person: €1–10 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Recommended dishes: Cucumber Roll Avocado Roll
