We have eaten here before and had reasonably good meals. However on a recent visit I had gammon steak with egg and chips. The gammon, if you could call it that came out looking like a slice of pork, not remotely salty and pale in colour. The plate was swimming in grease from the eggs and water from the peas making the chips soggy. I told the waitress when she asked if everything was ok that the gammon wasn't good and I had to leave it. No-one from management or the kitchen came to see what the issue was and still had to pay full price! £17. To be honest I have had better gammon steak at a supermarket café! This was more disappointing as the meal was a treat from my daughter having taken the family on holiday. Hopefully this won't put us off going again, as we regularly stay in the area.

I had a lovely dinner experience this evening. The service was excellent. For dinner, the price per person was between £30 and £40. I would rate the food a 5 out of 5, the service also a 5, and the atmosphere a solid 4.
