That was really interesting for me. it was pretty cool to see how the fish path worked. it is only open for limited hours and only a few months. it is quite cool to take kids and show them this elevator for fish. they have to step up to experience the main event and I didn't see any elevator for people. there is a training area when they first enter. if you don't care, it's a nice idea.

I had a great time at the first elevator and enjoyed the scenic views. It was a fun experience with plenty of music and atmosphere. They offer guided tours, complete with special coloring books for the kids, and you can also visit historical sites in Holyoke that highlight its generational heritage.

I had a very interesting visit with plenty to learn. It’s a great place for family outings.

If you like seeing wild fish like shad, sturgeon, eels, lamprey, and sea bass then this could be fun for a trip. HG&E carries the fish upriver using a giant fish lift an elevator filled with water so they can get over the Hadley dam during spawning season which is March to May ? .
