The food is very affordable, has a fair serving size, and tastes good. The service is okay. The atmosphere is very good since it is inside the marketplace of Polynesian Cultural Center.
I love the Chicago dog the best. The service is fast. It gets busy between 11-1. After that, the line dies down. It a very affordable meal at the Polynesian Cultural Center.Parking: Free parking less than 100 feet away.Wheelchair accessibility: You can access the counter from a wheelchair.
Ordered the chicago dog and the garlic dog and they were pretty good. a little bit pricy for a hotdog and our fries were overdone, but the staff was kind and the toppings were good.
Let 's start with the Cali dog an awesome idea for a hot dog a grilled dog with with bacon, avocado, cucumber, french fries, spicy mayo, green onions, and furikake! Absolutely delicious! Wow. That 's what my wife had. The choices were super vast and I had a hard time choosing. I ended up with the one after their namesake The Hale pop dog. It consists of bacon, sautéed onions, mushrooms, mayo and mustard. Being a chicago native I was tempted to test their Chicago dog but I thought when in Hawaii... and went a totally different route. You have a choice of fries or chips. I guess some weirdos actually pick chips but I had to get the fries. They not too bad. They went well with the dog but I wouldn 't order them separately. The guy who took our order was cool and laid back. He gave us total bisland vibes which is always a dope thing. Speaking of dope it 's basically outdoor seating but it 's so many nice places to sit you can get almost overwhelmed with choices. This place is not on the big island or Honolulu proper. It was part of the Polynesian cultural center tour (fun tour by the way) in the marketplace place. So if you 're ever there and want an awesome hot dog I 'd definitely recommend.
