El Monte Taqueria - HOOD RIVER

Absolutely delicious! These are my favorite tacos in Hood River! I had two carne asada tacos with salsa verde, and they were both affordable and incredibly tasty. Plus, all the staff were super friendly!

This is undoubtedly the best Mexican food I've ever had! I absolutely love the burritos here. The service is quick and friendly, and the food is consistently delicious with generous portion sizes. I eat here several times a week. They also offer the best red and green salsas. Thank you!

That's the real deal. It was excellent. I grew up in Arizona and know good Mexican food.

You have to stop stuffing your gobs on expensive, tourist Mexican foods. No respect for the rest, but if you want the local price list just the simple Mexican menu, you will no longer see. Small Burro is regular size. Pollo's so good. Options only for Veggies.

The food here is excellent, and the owners come from a family known for their fantastic cuisine! They are longtime locals and are incredibly welcoming. The setup resembles a food cart but is more permanent, with picnic tables beneath a large tent and a stunning, enormous tree growing through the center of the covered area. There might be a short wait at times, but it's never too long. The atmosphere is relaxed, and both the patrons and owners are friendly. As you might have gathered, it's a very casual spot—definitely not pretentious. I believe everyone who dines here truly appreciates that!
