Old Hoosick Tavern - Hoosick Falls

Superior food and atmosphere in an out of the way location. Excellent service. I have only one complaint and that is they don't serve bread with the dinners. Hope they read this and start to do so. Salad comes with dinner and fresh veggies and baked or home made French fries. Great dessert too. Try this place you will like it! Update on this review , had lunch here 2 days ago and had an incredible chicken parmesan with salad pasta and fresh-baked rolls! $8.95.Plus creme brulee cheesecake that was out of this world.$3.00 Get here quick.!

The restaurant has a spacious dining area that is pleasantly quiet. I really appreciated the decor—the walls were adorned with an array of watches, Norman Rockwell prints, and charming antiques. The tavern featured interesting shields displayed throughout. As for the food, it was excellent! My burger was so large that I almost had to unhinge my jaw to take a bite. The waffles were perfectly crispy, just the way I like them. I would definitely return and recommend it to my friends.

I would give this place 4 and a half stars, mainly because it was quite busy, which made the food pickup and service a bit slow. However, the food was fantastic! The ribs were absolutely amazing. I also had the BLT, soup, salad, ribs, and pasta, and everything was delicious. I loved the atmosphere; there was always something visually interesting to look at no matter where you turned.

The food was fantastic, the waiting staff were exceptional, and the decor was funky with signs, clocks, and glass accents. This has become our new favorite spot for a date night!

First thing we noticed was the bar decor. Old signs and assorted memorabilia cover the entire bar area...looks and feels really cool. Just ordered a burger but server was great, prices really good and the fresh meat burger was done to perfection and was delicious. Will be visiting again very soon to try out one of their dinner selections.
