The atmosphere was quiet enough for us to enjoy our conversations without any loud music, and we were not rushed to leave for the next customer. We had dinner one evening and breakfast the following morning. We have found our go-to restaurant for future visits!
Great place for an in-house meal with a great family atmosphere and friendly staff. Great prices and menu. We visited our daughter in Hope and wanted to eat at Rolly after we follow the news reports how much they fought in the pandemic releases....We were happy to be there to support their business. Will go back in future visits. Plus Hope is a beautiful city, so much to see especially all outdoor wood carvings and shops.
We stumbled upon this restaurant on our way to Vancouver Island and were pleasantly surprised. Despite its inconvenient location and unassuming interior, the food really impressed us. As a family, we tend to stick to classics like toasties, so we ordered a BLT, Turkey Club, ham and cheese, and grilled cheese. Three of the sandwiches came with fries, one with potato salad, and all were served with a side of herbs. The portions were generous and the food was delicious. I couldn't find any faults with it. The coleslaw was particularly lovely, lightly dressed and not drowning in mayo like some places. The boys enjoyed their chocolate milkshakes, commenting on how thick and delicious they were. The staff was friendly and attentive, constantly refilling our water glasses and coffee cups. Overall, it was a great dining experience!
Since we were here for 1 night and Rolly's was close to our motel, we eat here twice, dinner and breakfast next morning. Both servers were pleasant and friendly and both meals were ok. The portions are good, and the value is just as good. At dinner we had both burgers and felt that the frozen Patty was not very tasteful, so the dinner was somewhat disappointing. During breakfast we had omelettes and pancakes and they were much better.
Rolly's struck us as a friendly, welcoming place, and met our expectations for a small-town restaurant. We grew up in small towns, so that's our wheelhouse. The menu had lots of options, and our food was well-prepared, reasonably priced, and we were well-satisfied with everything.
