Low Tide Cafe - HOPEWELL CAPE

We had quite a long walk on the beach among the Flowerpot Rocks today and when we were finished we all enjoyed an ice cream cone at the Low Tide cafe. It helped give us some energy for the rest of our day and cool us off

If your idea of a quick lunch includes hot dogs (hambugers - as it reads on their sign ), soda pop, ice cream, that sort of thing, and paying for the convenience, then this is your place. It has a monopoly, unless you bring your own bagged lunch, like so many other places at tourist attractions. But, hey, we were so glad it was there, to quench our thirst after walking on the beach at low tide! Bathrooms, too - clean, and right next door. Kids will enjoy the offerings, adults, meh, not so much.

Wasn't expecting much, but the most lobster meat and the least mayo and the best price of any lobster rolls we had on our trip! Also a handy out-of-the-rain place to wait for others in the party.

My guys got ice cream and I got a salad. They also have things like hot dogs and fries. You sit outside in a canopied area. If you order 2 scoops of ice cream you get a VERY large portion.
