Hotham - HOTHAM HEIGHTS

The staff appeared inexperienced and seemed distracted while taking our order, as they were busy on their phones. When we inquired about the heating not working properly, one employee responded aggressively, claiming it was broken and not their concern. Later, we discovered that the heating wasn't switched off; it simply hadn’t been adjusted. Additionally, the music was overly loud, especially considering there were only four of us in the restaurant. It would have been nice if the lighting had been a bit brighter around 7:00 PM as well.

This is the worst restaurant experience I've had. We tried the chicken soup, chicken pizza, gnocchi, and chicken cake, but none of them tasted good. The soups were served in takeaway cups, even though we were dining in. The pies were cold. The only positive aspect was the drinks. I definitely won't be returning to this place.

This is a great spot for a drink and a meal. The food is served hot, while the drinks are refreshingly cold (except for the hot beverages, of course). The prices are reasonable, and the staff is friendly and attentive.

All guests at Players Lodge on August 31, 2023, were kept awake until 4:30 a.m. by the lively staff from the Dolomite Ski Club. With speakers, lights, and who knows what else, it turned into a full-fledged rave. While some have raised concerns about the lack of staff accommodations in Hotham, it’s clear how those facilities can be misused by those who have access. Be prepared to enjoy your stay with a group that seems to have complete freedom from the hotel, showing little consideration for the rest of the resort.

A few weeks ago, I visited the Hotham Hotel and ordered the pork schnitzel. It was perfectly cooked and delicious. The staff were fantastic, and the atmosphere was enhanced by the awesome music; the DJ played all my favorite tunes. I really enjoyed my time there. Thank you, everyone!
