We ordered Dal Makhani, Vegetable Jalfrezi, Saag Paneer, Shrimp Vindaloo, and Butter Chicken—everything was simply amazing! You can adjust the level of spices in any dish to suit your preference, which is particularly great for families with children. The prices are very reasonable for the generous portions you receive, and each dish comes with rice. The naan was freshly made; we particularly enjoyed the garlic naan! My family was thrilled with the fresh and flavorful food at Amar’s and we will definitely be returning, especially since it’s conveniently located near our home on the north side of the city! We also appreciate that it's a family-owned business, which adds a special touch.

I’m giving this brand new restaurant a 5-star review due to the warm welcome we received and the delicious Indian cuisine we enjoyed. Amar Indian European Restaurant features an extensive menu along with a great selection of international wines and beers. I highly recommend it!

Vegetarian here. You need to try the saag paneer, Pakora and garlic naan... The aromas are wonderful and everyone is different. Very recommended!!!

First time visiting. Decided on a take out. Excellent food. The chicken vindaloo was as authentic as it gets. Coming from the UK, it's been a challenge to find a good Indian restaurant in the Houston area. Amar ticks all the boxes. The restaurant is tastefully done with good draught beer. Will definitely be going back to try the lunch and the a la carte evening menu.
