We attended their New Year dinner w friends and had a great time. However, I wish, my tenderloin had been Med. Rare as I ordered it as well as the lobster. Both a bit overdone which drains flavor. First courses were yummy, but let’s stop serving vegetables out of season (tomatoes) just not the best. I’d love to see a winter multi ingredient salad: so many yummy things available: arugula, nuts, some unique ingredients. Service is always on target: they properly wait till all are finished before clearing the course and never stack. The owner, Bill stopping by for a quick visit. Nice since we eat there often. Feels like that friendly neighborhood place you love to feast. One last point, Bacaro’s was busy, good for them and glad they survived the shut down, but can we lower the noise level a bit? Quieter would increase ambiance for this beautiful and exceptional wine bar restaurant. Over all we had a good time and hope to turn this into our tradition for NY celebrating. 9 pm seating was just right.
NYE prid fixe menu was great All four of us enjoyed our choices. We have come her many times and food and service at consistently good. It’s a warm atmosphere. The only downside is that it can be noisy when full. Not so bad that you have to shout to be heard though.
We had another GREAT experience in bacardi. this is one of our favorites and it has not disappointed!
Overall a true “keeper” restaurant! The food and service were amazing and the value was definitely there. We went ahead and tried all the things that are hard to get right in a restaurant (octopus, risotto) and they were super good. Will definitely be back!
