Banh Cuon Hoa - Houston

I was pleasantly surprised by my experience. I usually believe that the best and freshest Vietnamese food can only be found on Bellaire, but this place exceeded my expectations. The service was prompt, and the food tasted like it came straight from a home kitchen. My favorite part was the freshly ground peppers served with the dipping sauce. Just a heads up: freshly ground peppers pack a serious punch! I used my usual amount, thinking it wouldn’t be too spicy, since most restaurants use factory-crushed peppers, which tend to be milder. I ended up needing extra water and ice to cool down! I will definitely be back to try more dishes.

My family loves visiting this restaurant for their banh cuon! We've been coming here for years, and while I enjoy their banh cuon, I feel that some of the other dishes could use improvement. The service is very fast, and the prices are reasonable. I would rate the canh bun a 6/10; it's a bit bland, although my parents really enjoy it! The banh cuon, on the other hand, is excellent—I'd give it a 9/10 for being very authentic and delicious.

This place is kind of hidden, to be honest I just ordered something random from the menu and cleaned the plate. Everything was tasty and good quality, service was on point and friendly. Will be putting this place into my lunch rotation and try more dishes.

I've never dined in, but I've placed many takeout orders. The bánh cuốn is excellent—I’ve never had a bad experience with it.
