Chili's Grill - Houston

The restaurant had many vacant tables, yet we waited for 25 minutes. Fortunately, we were seated within 5 minutes, and our waiter, although new, made our dining experience enjoyable. The food was served hot and delicious! I ordered the BBQ brisket burger and it was tasty.

When we arrived, the staff had not arrived yet. We were seated promptly, but the hostess did not provide us with menus, especially for the children. When our waiter finally arrived, he took our drink and appetizer orders, but when the utensils arrived, there was not enough for everyone. After waiting for 30 minutes, we placed our food orders and waited another hour without receiving our food. It was only when I found the manager and asked for our food that it finally arrived, missing several items. The child's meal was missing fries or oranges, one side was cold, and the other was wrong. The main dishes were overcooked, making them hard to eat, and the burger was cold with missing sauces. The only positive aspect was that the manager refunded our food, although even that refund was mishandled as it was not properly completed.

I would give this restaurant zero stars if I could, but unfortunately I have to give it one. I usually love Chili's, but this was a terrible experience. My partner and I wanted to celebrate our one-month anniversary with a special evening at Chili's, our go-to spot for a quick meal. However, we were not welcomed warmly. We had a staring contest with the host, who made us feel like we should seat ourselves. There were dirty plates on every table in the restaurant, and we were seated next to a pile of them. We had to go over our entire order with the server because we always know what we want. One of the servers even yelled at customers behind us who complained about their order being wrong, stating it was not his problem. This was unprofessional and unacceptable. In my experience working in a restaurant, the staff should ensure customer satisfaction by fixing mistakes promptly. We waited over 20 minutes without receiving our drinks or appetizers. The place was dirty, and the server's appearance was unkempt. We ended up leaving and going to In-N-Out Burger next door. It's disappointing how this Chili's was so poorly managed and understaffed. I will never return to this dirty and unpleasant restaurant.

We came tonight 4/15/22 to celebrate my father's birthday. we were greeted rudely by a racist short black man. we wanted to talk to a manager and we'll tell ourselves that we can't talk to him and that he was busy on the phone and then was told that we could leave his restaurant. he was not the manager, but he was not right to speak with us. I took this video from him to get crazy

Do not come here it’s very dirty and it took forever to get seated and the waiter took are money and wouldn’t give us change until we got a manager and he still gave us the wrong amount. And the girls restroom had no sink and was very dirty they didn’t take out the trash. There are THOUSANDS of holes in there seats and no a/c. Food was cold and over all I felt like I was in the ghetto horrible location I do not recommend coming here.
