Crazy Cajun Seafood Sports - Houston

This restaurant was extremely disappointing! Some classmates and I decided to eat here during our break and it was the worst choice we could have made. The gumbo was terrible, tasting like muddy water. I'm glad I only got a cup and not a bowl. It seemed like they used hot dogs instead of real sausage. Three out of four of us ordered the gumbo and none of us liked it. The other person in our group got a DX and said the lime was old and dried out. It's ironic that the restaurant is called Crazy Cajun, because there was nothing Cajun about that awful gumbo. The waitress was apologetic and offered replacements, but our dinner break was already wasted. I would not recommend this restaurant and I definitely would not return. The roux was definitely not roux-ing in this place!

The crawfish and boiled shrimp were delicious, but the customer service leaves much to be desired. Every time I order to go, I end up waiting an extra 15-20 minutes for my food, with staff seemingly ignoring my presence. On a recent visit, I ordered two margaritas to go and had to wait 10 minutes for them to be made, only to receive a barely filled cup. When ordering takeout, the food should be ready upon arrival. The slow and inefficient service at this restaurant is in desperate need of improvement in regards to customer service.

The waitress was friendly and attentive. eating was not bad, but not the best I ever had. the dining room was disgusting. there were rests of meal past the blinds and windows. the floor was sickly sticky. I'm pretty sure I don't return.

*after my review, because this place is now a little tragic, are arrogant, in the grunde only the worse Boudin balls I ever cost. when I let them know that my spicy garlic butter was missing crusty fish, my teenage waiter said: "we cannot offer a discount" immediately. the manager let them re-squirt my cancer in Cayenne-Pfeffer, push them in garlic and bring them out again. my mother waited for a box for 10 minutes *brought my little sister before her game, we had a great time and the food was delicious and quite expensive. will definitely be back.
