Taconmadre (food Truck) - Houston

Update: I recently returned, and I’m happy to report they've made significant improvements. Both the food and service are now excellent!

I’ll be honest I’ve been here multiple times and tonight was not pleasant I ordered the 3 corn quesadillas combo with a small horchata and my Fiancé ordered a Torta combo with fries and his Torta had a hair. Everything was great other than a long black/brown hair in his Torta, we could absolutely tell it was in his Torta because he took a bite and was eating and then he felt something on his lip. He then touched his lip and Pulled out this long black/Brown hair for a couple of seconds. I also ordered the same kind of meat fajita so I didn’t eat the rest of my Corn Quesadillas. Food is great but I feel concerned about hair in the food this night. :

The taco's are very delicious. The problem I have if I’m going to spend over 11.00 for 5 tacos I don’t understand why I can’t get 1 packet of salsa for each taco. 3 packets of salsa for 5 tacos. That’s not fair that they would charge you 25 cents per packet extra. I understand food is expensive now, because I’m a cook, but if you have awesome food, please don’t let something as small as a packet of salsa stop a customer from visiting your establishment again. I appreciate any feed back by the owner.

Great food but they usually take a while to complete your order so if you’re buying for your lunch make sure you order way ahead of time
