Contribuisci feedbackUpdate 8/30Something is up the restaurant. I’ve been going to it since 2007. I walked in and the floor smelled really bad. The Bulgogi was not Ribeye!! it was some dry meat with a lot of nerves. I’m going to think chuck roast. The kimchi does not taste homemade any longer, it taste like some generic kimchee. The Bulgogi came out on the hot plate, but it didn’t even cook the onions and it had no sauce. Very poor Bulgogi!!I’m thinking of never going back!! I’m updating my picturesBest bulgogi in Houston!! Panchan is limited but authentic and delicious!! Don’t go late they throw away the miso soup early!! Over all it feels like your Oma is cooking you a home made dinner!!
Update #1 : June 30, 2023. Citibank made credit dispute of $32.97 permanent. Some dishes MAY/COULD be spoiled. Will not eat here again. Be careful.May 14, 2023 original dine-in date. Ordered #33 (2) yakisoba with bulgogi and #34 yakisoba with chicken for three people plus one #1. First two are more like soup noodle dishes and tasted strange as if something was spoiled in the food. We don't think they were ordered often as some of the other dishes explaining the odd taste. We didn't get sick but I did go to my credit card company to ask for a partial refund currently in dispute. Dish #1 grilled beef ribeye was actually really good. We won't be eating here again. NOT RECOMMENDED those two items. Maybe the rest of the menu is good. Plenty of other food stalls to choose from.
The dishes themselves were great, but not the rice. The rice was dry, grains separated, not sticky at all. This is not the standard for Korean rice. I believe the rice make or break the entirety of the meal.Food: 3/5
The chicken bulgogi is always tender, and a good amount for the price. i noticed the price did go up unfortunately but the food is always so good. i love the radish kimchi they have. great service, great portions.
Went in to try the BBQ. On a whim decided to try the Hot Stone Beef Bibimbap. It came with Kimchi and another vegetable side dish. Also included was a Miso soup bowl. The serving of meat was decent with rice, and other vegetables in the hot stone bowl. And a fried egg on top. The trick is to mix everything in the bowl and eat from the sides inwards. The hot sides give you a perfect temperature portion with every bite which is thoroughly enjoyable. It is not spicy so the accompanying hot sauce can be used liberally. The food was very tasty. And the gent at the counter was very helpful. Overall, very pleased with the meal in taste, and in service.Only reason to remove one star for atmoshpere is that it is part of the Ranch comlex. complex. Even though it has its own space it does feel a bit like food court.Value for money: don't think you can get a better meal for $12.
