Woodcutters Arms - Hout Bay

I celebrated my cousin's 60th birthday at this restaurant. We were all seated in compliance with strict Covid-19 regulations, ensuring a safe and enjoyable dining experience. The chef was praised for the wonderful dishes served.

It is a sweet little pub with indoor and outdoor seating. My wife and I had a light lunch to eat only their appetizers. Your potato wars were made warm and fresh in the house. Do not expect a fast service (but they are attentive, we also had service from the owner), which is nice if you only want to enjoy the scenarios. There are also not many parking spaces available, but you can park in the shopping center next door and a little walk. Overall a great experience for a decent price.

Having Sunday roast with my family and friends was a delightful experience! I highly recommend making a trip to Hout Bay just to dine at this high-quality Irish pub.

This restaurant has a fantastic atmosphere, with friendly staff and a wide selection of beers on tap, including craft beers and larger brewery options. The food is delicious with a good variety to choose from. Their pub quiz nights are also enjoyable. Highly recommended all around.
