Was attracted by the great range of gluten free items on the menu either as an gluten free option or just a gluten free item.GLUTEN INTOLERANT AND COELIACS BE CAREFUL AS ITEMS LISTED AS GF MAY NOT BE GF AND YOU WILL HAVE TO CHECKOrdered 2 drinks, 1 spiced corn nibbles, 2 starters and 2 mainsAfter a few minutes we were told the drinks we ordered were not available and so we switched our order. The one starter arrived, then 2 drinks, then the nibbles, then a few minutes later everything else all at once. Plates precariously balanced on edges of tables etc… no real consideration or helpNow the good is that the gluten free bases were really good, nice texture and enjoyable part of the mealGenerally each item was a little disappointing. Very few ingredients on the pizzas small circles of vegan cheese and a few bits of veg on top of a large base. The “Honey,I want the one with pepperoni” had a thick layer of tomato sauce that felt uncocked and really ruined the pizza to the pint that we left 2/3 of it (which wasn’t queried at the end)The cheesy garlic pizza bread was also a sad sight with about 6 circles of cheese and a slice garlic glove spread out over a large base. This is also an item listed as GF (not as a item with a GF option just GF) and turns out it isn’t and we had to pay extra to get a gluten free base on an item that was meant to be GF. When questioning at time of ordering that the menu said it was GF we were just told that everything you have to pick the base, trying to point out how it is listed on the menu it was denied that was the case. When the bill came and I question why we had to pay extra for that item to be GF when it was listed as GF we were told they would tell a manager but didn’t adjust the bill. The bill was £65 including a tip and was throughly disappointing and not anywhere near value for moneyI have eaten many vegan meals and this by far was one of the poorer ones. It wouldn’t cost a lot to cut up a few extra vegetables to make the pizzas nicer or just serve smaller pizzas so that the ingredients fill more of it.
Still not convinced by vegan cheese, but the pizzas with a minimal use of it were very tasty. I highly recommend the pesto base choices combined with the dough and baked veg, it's as good a vegan pizza you will probably have tried.Extensive menu, lovely interior. Slightly disconcerting that we were the only ones dining in at 9pm on a Saturday. There were apparently a couple others on the first floor, but I guess we will never know.
I didn’t expect tuna pizza to be so delicious Bowl was great too . Stuff guys are very friendly. Highly recommended
Never fails to impress me. Their pizza are amazing! Took a few of our friends here and they all loved it. Would definitely recommend.
The restaurant has become a solid favorite for the vegan pizza
